Connection with God and each other is why we exist.
We meet together to challenge our current concepts of God and ourselves. We meet together to celebrate each other no matter where we are in the process. We meet together to invite people into wholehearted living, authenticity, and vulnerability by modeling that in ourselves. We meet together because consistent connection is the only way to provide a safe place to be fully seen and fully loved. We meet together to pray because we know we are not the originators of our healing.
We carry our past on our shoulders when this is never God's intention for us.
We bring our wounds to Him because He hears us. We pray specifically because we know He answers. We pour out our hearts, whether or not we like what we find there, because He desires who we are, not who we ought to be. We apply the finished work of Christ into our lives because healing, wholeheartedness, and abundant life are normal parts of the Kingdom of God. We look at our past wounds because we want to take them off and focus on Jesus.
Serving God does not define us, but working in God's family business is a wonderful adventure.
We partner with the Holy Spirit because He has no desire to control us and every desire to empower us. We genuinely seek spiritual gifts because it is the culture and reality of the Kingdom of God. We serve the body of Christ and invite those outside because they were created to connect with God and others. We live and lead from the heart because it is the wellspring of life. We train ourselves because we love others and want to be effective at helping them connect with God.
